The STAINMASTER®
chemistry works in two ways, both repelling liquid at the surface and
also preventing spills that may soak in from becoming permanent stains.
- A stain works like a dye on the fiber. The
STAINMASTER® chemistry is a colorless dye.
It fills up the dye sites and prevents the stain from finding a
permanent home.
- The stain chemistry is optimized to work in
conjunction with the type 6,6 nylon used in STAINMASTER®
carpet.
